First, and foremost, wear a good comfortable pair of walking shoes. With more than 1,000 exhibitors and four show days, you are going to be doing some walking. How’s the saying go, “Give a person the right shoes, and they can conquer the world”? World of Concrete is what they were talking about.

2. Layer Up

There’s something about that desert air that keeps you warm in the sun, but makes you shiver the second you find shade. It is always a good idea to wear layers of clothing because you never know where you are going to be standing.

3. Stay Hydrated

We don’t want to sound like your mom, but this is key to making the most of your trip. The dry air and being outside will definitely get the best of you without water. And it’s the best way to make sure you don’t wake up with a headache.  

4. Plan Ahead & Network

You are likely to see and hear about new products at World of Concrete first. With this in mind, plan your days. Who do you want to see? Are they hosting an event? You do not want to miss out on any exciting news! Plus, you never know who you are going to meet at trade shows and events, so keep a stash of business cards to hand out so you can keep the conversation going after the show.
